Opportunities

I am actively recruiting Ph.D. students and postdoctoral researchers interested in:

• Boundary-layer meteorology and turbulence
• Land–atmosphere interactions and climate extremes
• Machine learning and generative AI for Earth system modeling
• Climate adaptation and geoengineering

Ph.D. Students

Prospective students should have a strong background in atmospheric science, fluid mechanics, physics, applied mathematics, or a related field. Experience with numerical modeling (LES, DNS, climate models) and/or machine learning is highly encouraged.

Postdoctoral Researchers

I welcome applicants with expertise in turbulence theory, land–climate interactions, high-resolution modeling, or AI-driven Earth system modeling.
